2011+ 55-60mph 5.0 Shuddering and EcoBoost Engine Miss/Loss of Power - Possible Fixes
Mine has done it basically from day one. I took mine into the dealer today and they said that they had already looked into this issue (after I took the service manager for a ride last week) and I could just take my truck home. Said it would be just a waste of both their and my time to put it in the shop cuz they've learned there is no fix at this time. They documented my issue and said they'd let me know when a fix was available. I'm pretty sure I'll learn about the fix here before they do. They are a pretty good dealership and I've never had any issues with them in the past and I doubt I will on this deal too. I just hope Ford is diligently looking for a fix!

And I worked so hard shining it up................
Let us know how it worx out........
So frustrating. Went to a new dealership, took it for a drive for another issue, but they hooked up the computer to detect the misfiring. Well the truck would shake no problem, but no misfires reported! I was baffled, because on the other computer, the tech could easily see the misfiring. We drove like 80miles, and absolutely nothing on their monitors. Now I'm back to thinking my ecoboost is dumping boost or something.
The tech i went with says he has a 5.0L and he has the same shudder. I know my truck didn't do this from day one, and now this is getting really frustrating. Mine does it regardless of weather, I can ALWAYS recreate the shutter at any speed above 55mph.

I have mine back. They flashed the transmission and calibrated for the misfire issue. The service manager seemed to be fully aware of the problem. Drove it home and didn't have the missing problem. I'll know more after I drive it in the morning.

I've been watching this thread. Let's hope Ford is too!! My Screw Eco has about 4000 miles on it. The shuddering started at about 2500 miles. Does it no matter what the weather is like. My mileage has dropped since then as well. Not a lot, but it has dropped. Noticed very noticeable increase in turbo noise yesterday when accelerating. Did it a few times, from 20-30 km/h and at highway speed too.
