2011+ 55-60mph 5.0 Shuddering and EcoBoost Engine Miss/Loss of Power - Possible Fixes
I only have a reference number. Customer Care is going to call me back this week (with a case number, I presume).
The Customer Service rep was very courteous, but he didn't say if he was getting a lot of calls regarding this issue or not. I will ask the person who calls me back if this is becoming a common issue.

Thought I would add my two cents. I've called Ford Canada and have opened a ref# (case) regarding this issue. For the last 2 weeks my dealer has been working on another truck (same problems) with Ford Tech to solve it before bringing mine in. I understand that they are now changing out the injectors as Ford tech has asked them to do this as a next step. My truck is scheduled to go in next week. This problem is somehow weather related as appears that the cold & damp weather has brought a lot of complaints out regarding it. In the other post, Graylady had also mentioned that weather seems to affect the shudder.
I’ll keep you posted once I’ve had my truck in.

I have still had trouble getting mine to do it as bad as it was before I went out of town over New Years. Don't know what changed besides putting on a lot of highway miles at 70 mph which I do not typically drive. It is still there occaisionally, but only to the point where someone would probably just think it was a bump in the road. I cancelled my dealer picking it up last week in hopes I can get it to do it more pronounced. Hopefully I can find a nice road to showcase the shudder on and have him take it next week. Huge temp drop today here along with moisture in the air, gonna see if it does it on the way home.
I also am having a hard time getting mine to shudder now. Guessing it is the dry weather here in michigan lately, in the fall I could get it shudder whenever I wanted it to due to the moisture as everyone is pointing out.
My assumption is it is related to something electrical, whether it be coils, connectors or something on that line where the cylinder isn't getting enough spark to properly fire. The reason I say this is at least in my scenario it is most definitely worse when it is very humid/rainy/foggy out and this is after the "Misfire Neutral Profile Correction" bandaid fix....
I call every other week and let them know my concerns. I explaine that I love my truck and I want it to be right. I cant get any real info out of them but, the members here seem to have more answers than they do so, Ill continue to stay tuned here!! Thanks to everyone of you who have been keeping us up to date on what they find out about this issue!!
Ps. I did get the...did you check your tire presure, and take your foot of the accelerator when you feel a shudder, then, reaplly your foot to accelerator... response from them today but, that does me little good.

My truck went in for the hesitation/miss/shutter at 55MPH in 6th gear issue today. They ran a diagnosis and found no codes, SSM's or TSB's. The fuel pressure was also good. They contacted the Ford Hotline regarding "misfires under load (i.e. going up a hill)" and "wastegate fluctuations." They were told that this is currently under investigation by Ford engineering. They did tell them to check ground G105. They found looseness and residue on the connector. They cleaned and torqued it. G105 is the ground for the bank 2 ignition coils.
I plan on calling Ford Customer Care and opening a case. My dealer knows that there is an issue and I feel they are doing what they can do. I am going to give Ford a month to come up with a correction before I call the dealer back. The service advisor at the dealer said that it could be a while before a fix comes out though.
