2011+ 55-60mph 5.0 Shuddering and EcoBoost Engine Miss/Loss of Power - Possible Fixes
Got mine back today, " Ford is aware of the problem and working on it" guess what, if I want to I can try to go the lemon law route but, I just might trade it in. You guys have any opinions on whether it would be better to trade up or Lemon law? I did have the tranny pump replaced because of a leak, wow, truck is barely a year old with 11k. Also had them test for the slip bump, and the sooty tail pipe but, no go on those issues...couldn't replicate. The dealer did take care of me though, and treated my concerns with respect. So glad I took a chance and switched dealers. I didn't even buy the truck there either! However, I was glad to get the truck back. Seeing it there all shined up in the service lot..I thought, damn, I love this truck but, I'm getting worried that a fix for the 6th gear uphill shudder may never come, mine is really bad when towing, and I tow all summer so, what to do...
Only one person has posted on here in regards to pressuring them for information/help on their Facebook page. See my post a page back or so. Bringing attention to this matter through social media will get some heads turning. However, to be effective in needs to happen in mass and with decorum.

Tophog, what new TSB. It would nice of you to give more details for all of us who have been waiting patiently for a very long time.
Someone in a previous post (not even a week) mentionned that Ford was at 3-4 weeks for a new intercooler design. Normally after that there has to be whole ''manufacturing process'' which means more weeks
So this is why I'm VERY curious !!
Thanks

On a side note, I am about sick of this problem. One more attempt at the most recent TSB noted here and then it is time to contact a lawyer and buy a ........... gulp .........Ram. To think my last 7 vehciles have been Fords and 4 of those were F150s. All of this and Fords inability to properly real world test a new setup (they were too busy torture testing it) equals pushing a long term brand loyal customer to another manufacturer. Good luck Ford. When I get sick of my Ram and you figure out the EcoBoost problems I just MIGHT be back.
Good job on trying to break the mold with the EcoBoost, but next time make sure you get it right before releasing it. I am also very impressed that you keep selling these problem trucks.
Okay, I'm done venting
Ouppps !Good one Tophog. I didn't notice the '' then I woke up " part.
Guess my turn, I just woke up !
By the way If you woke up and bought a VW like the picture bellow your quote. Great choice, I've owned 7 VWs for the past 23 years, all turbos and never any "condensation problems" after totalling near to 1,900,000Km problem free besides a leaky turbo on my 1995 Golf.
P.S. I do love my Pick-up a lot.
By the way, it was a funny one
