2011+ 55-60mph 5.0 Shuddering and EcoBoost Engine Miss/Loss of Power - Possible Fixes

Transmission temperature
Under 150 degrees F = Very little or no shudder at any speed.
150 - 170 degrees F = More 55-60 mph shudder
170 - 190 degrees F = Shudder with mild acceleration and 55-70 mph shudder
190- 205 degrees F = aggressive shudder at any speed, slipping sensation with any acceleration, slipping & shuddering 70 - 90 mph, aggressive shudder when no throttle decelerating from 80 - 60 mph.
When the outside temperature is cold, transmission temp does not exceed 160 degrees F and shudder is rarely noticeable.
Seems to be getting worse with time. Started faint shudder at 10k miles, now at 30k. All signs point to a transmission or torque converter problem.

I'm pretty sure the EB guys are experiencing more/other problems than the issue that Bob Mac originally started this thread for. There was a mix of V8 and EB's on this subject but now seems to be dominated by EB owners.
Doesn't sound at all like they shudder most of us are experiencing, but regardless, still a serious problem. I just wanted to chime in and remind you that the PA lemon law runs out at 1 yr / 12,000 miles.

I would agree with this 100%. When the tranny is cold you can't get is to shudder or buck at all. Once it warms up and the torque converter starts to lock up, it starts to do it. The hotter it is, the worse it gets.

I really hope Ford can get the issues resolved on these trucks! I've been so pissed that they can't get the issues resolved that I've researched heavily all the other brands and options to trade my 11 FX4 Screw EB in on and have even test driven a 12 Ram 2500 Cummins crew and a Ram 1500 Hemi, a Sierra Denali 2500HD Duramax, and a F350 Lariat crew Powerstroke. I must say, I still like the interior, the look, the handling, the ride, and the braking of my F150 the best of any of them!! It just sucks I can't trust my truck because I love the damn thing other than the engine and transmission!!! Sounds stupid, but does anyone else feel the same?
That said, here's my idea of the ultimate hybrid off them all. I'd take an F150 body and interior, F150 front suspension and steering, the Ram 1500 rear suspension, then stuff it with the new 6.7 Powerstroke and the Allison trans from the GMC. Any buyers out there??

Coupe68GT390,
While I haven't driven any of the competition recently, I think you forgot to mention one thing. For a half ton truck, the power of the EcoBoost is unbeatable. So, for the engine in that perfect truck, a more realistic option would be a proper running EcoBoost tied to that Allison transmission.
Also, some people would like to do some light duty plowing with their trucks. So, the F150 steering and front end would also have to be scrapped.
