The reason I am sticking with Ford (for now) is that I also have an F450 and a Mustang, and I love both. I also love the F150, and with the 6.2 and hydraulic steering, it doesn't have any issues. Besides, although the 6.2 doesn't have the low RPM torque, the naturally aspirated 6.2 feels more natural to me. The umph comes a little bit later, but it does come, and I don't miss the noise from the turbos at all. I had Chevy and Ram trucks before, light duty and heavy duty, and none of them was issue-free. Just not as bad as my EB, I have to admit, because at least they did not try to kill me.

NYC glad to hear your happy w/your 6.2. I am hoping my EB doesnt kill me either or have the water/limp mode issues as reported. I will find out here in a couple of months when rain/humidity is more common, if it even flinches once i will be like u and cut my losses and trade in on SD w/6.2 or may try Ram/Tundra. Like you said there may be some issues with other trucks but probably not the kind that shut your engine down or shake violently. Enjoy your new truck and I know you feel when you hit accelerator that the engine will do it job.

Don't be so sure. Google search "Hemi Stalling" and read about that. I had that problem on an '07 Grand Cherokee. It was my wife's car and she complained a couple times that it just shut off on her. Once she was pulling out to merge in traffic and it almost go her hit. I swapped vehicles so I could experience it and try to diagnose it. Sure enough it happened to me. Tried for months to get it fixed, dealers were no help. To my knowledge they still haven't solved this issue. She was 4-5 months pregnant at the time and I got rid of it. There was no way I was keeping her in something that was going to get her hurt/killed. That was one of my last straws with Chrysler.

Wow! where do you guys find this stuff, If Ford would just step up and announce if they truly have this fixed or not it would make alot of people feel better. Didnt like reading the part where they said there was a secret memo about the issue. I dont understand if Ford issued this latest TSB and is offering to replace the bad CAC and other parts for all 11/12 and some 13's then what are they sueing for? Any lawyers out there?

The trouble is that people are still having issues after the tsb.
