Shuddering happened once, at 3,200 miles. Accelerating on highway in foggy and rainy conditions. Couldn't accelerate over 55 mph and acceleration induced violent shaking. I slowed down (downshifted to 3rd gear) and it went away. I dropped the truck off at the dealership the same day. 3 days later I got it back with a new intercooler and guard.

First noticed when going up very slight grades between 55 to 60 mph with cruise control engaged. At first thought it was rough road, but realized kicking out the cruise control and slightly lowering the gas pedal pressure that the shudder, vibration, rough engine, transmission or whatever it is ceased. I can induce the same problem on a level smooth highway by very very slightly trying to increase the speed in 6th gear with the gas pedal from 55 to 60 mph. You must just barely try to increase the "lug" to cause the problem, but it can be demonstated quite easily.

.

Mine is almost the same as yours. I think mine was made on the 12th of April and is not a Lariat but the rest is the same including what you just described. Been to the dealer several times with out any luck. This last time right before Christmas they told me there was a PCM update. So they flashed it and told be to give it a few days so it could relearn. Sorry to say I can not tell any different after the update.
