2010 Speaker problem.

The LF door speaker cuts in and out and seems quieter than the others. Do you think the problem is in the speaker or the radio? If it is the speaker I would just upgrade and bypass the warrenty work. I like the factory radio, so if that is the problem then I need to go to the dealer.

Hmmm now after 2 months trouble free I am having issues with my RIGHT FRONT speaker. It seems 50% of the time I turn the truck on it is distorted, and the other 50 % of the time it sounds fine. I have already taken apart the drivers door and found a disconneted wire, but that speaker wasnt working at all at the time.
I have infinity reference 5x7's installed and I am wondering if I should just completly disconnent the factory tweeters and see if that will fix anything. Anybody else having problems with the front right speaker?

Yeah my right front has issues cutting out. Increasing the volume brings it back for a bit.
Funny part is my tweeter continues to work. Maybe because it doesn't take as much power?
Just waiting for the weather to warm up to replace the harness.

Really confused
Guys,
Can someone with a better understanding of electric please explain what I am experiencing with this?
I replaced the stock speakers with Infinity component speakers with crossovers. I have the intermittent cut out of the front passenger speaker that the tsb talks about.
But what I experience is strange. If there was a connection problem in the wiring harness, wouldn't both my tweeter and woofer cut out? My woofer cuts out but the tweeter continues to play. If I reach in the door and jiggle the wires I can get it to come back on but with static.
Sounds like I have a bad woofer, crossover, or connection? That's what I thought too so I replaced all the Infinity equipment with new including the wires going to the speakers. Same problem on the same side.
Just today my woofer stopped playing again (while the tweeter continued) so I pulled the door panel off. As soon as I removed the woofer it started to play and no matter how much I jiggled the wiring harness I couldn't get it to stop playing or produce static.
Is it electrically possible for a bad connection to allow high frequency's to pass to the crossover? Seems to me a bad connection would kill all the sounds and not just bass.
Stumped....

Bringing this back from the dead.
Same problem, starting about a year ago with the driver side door. Speaker replaced by dealer. Then, about 2 months later, passenger side started to act up. Dealer replaced speaker. Now, both are doing it again.
Does the TSB fix this problem?
This is my 4th F-150 and by far the most troublesome of them all.

I own a 2010 Lariat with the Sony Nav multidisc system and have been having an ongoing problem with the drivers side door speaker. I informed my local Ford dealer and they told me there is a TSB about the issue, which identified the wire harness had a issue with the pins in one of the plugs. So they replaced it. A short time later, it started again, so the dealer replaced the speaker. A while after the speaker had been replaced the same problem reappeared.
I started to take notice that it seems to happens to be more noticeable when using Bluetooth to play music off my iphone. When using my sat radio the problem doesn't seem to exist, at least I haven't noticed it. Sometimes during a song the speaker would cut out and in several times. Rough road conditions don't make the problem occur.
My wife owns a 2012 Raptor with the Sony Nav multidisc system as well, and just recently experiencing the same issue and the Ford dealer replaced the speaker.
Now I am starting to think that it may be an issue with the Bluetooth or maybe the way in which the music is being converted into a music file format (mp3 or equivalent). As anyone else experienced this? Is it possible there is a problem with the converted music? Or is there an issue with the Sony hardware? Thanks

I hate to revive an old thread but could not find any newer threads applying to this as in depth.
2010 F-150 XLT supercrew, sync/sirius, no nav. Out of warranty by a large margin.
Both my front speakers cut in and out, but primarily my passenger speaker. Haven't noticed any issues with the rears.
Ordered a set of Kicker 41KSC684 6x8 coaxials for front and year to replace stock speakers for better sound and originally to fix the cutting out issues before coming across this thread. $140 shipped for all 4, so atleast got a decent deal
I read the TSB 12-11-4 and it appears that cutting and soldering new ends on the speaker connections wouldn't do me a whole lot of good since the way I read it, the issue is in the door molex connection????
Can anyone chime in that has actually done the harness swap them-self on how bad the swap is and where the actual problem originated??? I only want to tear my door panels apart once to do speakers/wires. Is the issue actually in the molex connector or did you notice any other issues that could be corrected easier?
I have power/heated mirrors without memory, so it appears the harnesses I need are:
9L3Z-14631-CA for the left
9L3Z-14630-CA for the right
I come across parts that are the same part number but -CAA instead of -CA, what's the differences?
And anyone else who has had their harness swapped whether themself or a dealer, is the problem _STILL_ gone or has it come back?
Thanks for any info. Tired of ignoring the cutting out speakers or turning volume up a notch or two to make it pop back into working.....
