I had hoped I was not going to have this problem but my right rear speaker has gone out completely. I have Polk db57's in the doors with a Pioneer AVH-3300BT.

My front left door speaker has been cutting out since new. 2011 xlt trim. Some times it's good for a week other times it's so bad I can't stand listening g to radio win he static and constant on off. I did notice it doesn't always cut out 100%. It's like that one speaker had volume adjusted to level 1. Touch the radio vol and it comes back. Dealer rolled his eyes when I brought it in for a list of other electrical issues. They were no help because it's intermittent

Other electrical issue was rear window would not roll down from drivers control panel since day one. Also from time to time if windows are 1/2 way down and I hit auto up they will go an inch up then auto down on their own. Maby the harness is bad and pinching all these wires??

The dealers have a phone & email hotline to Ford engineering to ask about odd/intermittent troubles. Ask them to use that, if they give you a hard time, I would try to find another Ford dealer if possible.

Just wondering if that harness fixed anyone's problems?

I too have experienced my right front speaker cutting out and increasing the volume brings it back. I have Infinity Kappa component speakers and thought the woofer was bad so I replaced the entire system including speakers, crossover, and wires from the crossover to the speakers.

Same issue. Funny thing is my tweeter continues to run, just the woofer cuts out.

my passenger side speaker has same problem, cuts in and out. I have had door panel off several times and each time i find water in the connection where the speaker meets the wiring harness, i dry it out and it works fine for a few weeks. It did this with the stock speakers and now does it with aftermarket speakers. Water in the connection has to be the cause, how we stop it, I'm not sure yet. This is on a 2011 fx4 btw, i never had any issues with my 2009 stx.
