But if your truck is going to be sitting outside daily at work; you risk the chance of the roof leaking.
The FoMoCo's engineers seem to have a water intrusion problem with the 3rd brake light. That roof penetration is lots smaller than a sunroof.
All vehicles that I've owned eventually leaked from the sunroof. I got tired of the musty smell so, never again.

I have to disagree about sunroof/moonroof leaking to be inevitable. I've had a several cars from Mazda, Volvo, Mercedes that I kept for 10 - 15 years or more that all had sun/moon roofs that NEVER leaked.

The problem with the OP's truck is baffling. Let's face it....there are only so many places for a leak to be able to happen, and if the dealer is so inept as to not be able to fix it, then the truck MUST have SERIOUS issues that happened during the build.

Sadly, the OP is ****ed now, but as others said....I would have demanded a new truck at the time of the first leak. When we pay ~$45K for these trucks, ANY leak is totally unacceptable.

yup, when my truck comes if so much as a drop comes in, i wont be keeping it. And to be leaking from so many places, that truck is bound to have many issues down the road. Be a fool to keep a truck like that after paying so much money for it

One of the main perks of buying new is getting a vehicle that is supposed to be garunteed not to have issues the day u buy the thing because nobody else has tocuhed it and abused it.

I have had 1 Honda car and 3 Toyota cars (still have one) w/factory sun roofs and have never had so much as 1 drop of water leak inside. I can certainly see an after market sunroof having issues but no way on a factory one. Totally unacceptable. I guess I am glad i don't have one on my new truck. Good luck to the op w/ his.
