No Lowering Kits for Long Bed??
Hi, Guys. New member hear after only reading post as a guest for the last year. I have a 2013 F150 Extended Cab ,2wd, Loooooong Bed, 5.0, striped fleet truck. Its bare bones other then the 5.0! OK so ive got lots of dreams of a head turning low rider street machine. Question is I see all lowering kits listed say for short bed? When I specify long bed it seems no kits are available? What is the difference? Im a machinist and do all my own custom work so im sure I can figure it out. Im thinking its the shims that come with the kits for drive shaft angle correction is whats different. Just looking for some input so I don't reinvent the wheel. Looking at a 3/5 Kit.

Ive never lowered a truck this new, but have lowered many in the past. I dont see anything that would be different between the suspension from a short to a long bed truck. My guess would be to call one of the manufacturers that your looking at and just ask them.
