Clicking Tail Gate
I have the same problem with my tail gate clicking. When you start to lower it, it makes that sound.
I have a 4.6 engine with 5K on it. It also makes that clicking sound sort of like a diesel engine. I don't recall it making that sound in the begining. It does it cold or hot. I will be taking it to the dealer soon and will let you know if it has been resolved.

While they are doing the fuel gauge TSB, have them do the loose seat cover TSB as well, TSB 10-20-7, "Some 2009-2010 F-150 vehicles may have a seat cushion cover that appears loose near the front of the seat. This may be caused by the seat cushion cover j-retainer becoming disengaged from the seat cushion pan flange"

Had this stuff addressed yesterday at the dealership...
Coolant leak - couldn't find any evidence of this. Im starting to wonder if someone else parked in my spot. Additionally, the service guy said that the coolant was almost clear, slightly yellow tinted, not the bright green color of old. Guess it wasn't mine. They pressure tested it for 30 minutes and no leak.
Burning smell - couldn't duplicate. The service writer wondered if the e-brake was hanging up. I'll feel the brakes the next time I drive up to the mountain.
Seats - Thank you Abn150 for the info. This is what they performed. Apparently the seat clips had come undone. I think it looks better, so we'll see how it holds up.
The tailgate clicking sound - they said a torsion bar rod was binding and they ordered a replacement. Somehow, the noise is gone now... so I wonder if they greased it.
The fuel reading - they applied the TSB listed above. Will have to see if it works. As it was, my fuel gauge wouldn't reset even after 20 minutes of driving or shut-down/restart. However, the TSB clearly states that it will take ~15 minutes for the fuel gauge to react still. I guess this is to prevent the gauge from being affected by sloshing fuel.
Thanks for the help guys,
-Matt
