Default 2010 FX4. Only 1.5" level allowed??

Local shop told me the most I can go on a level for the FX4 package is 1.5 or it would cause damage to other components.

Any other FX4 users out there who can confirm/deny??

u can go as high as 3 or 3.5 inches, but that is a VERY VERY BAD IDEA! i went with a 1.5" to try and keep as little stress on the front end components as possible. lots go with a 2"< i think the most common.

but i opt for 1.5" as a safety.

so yes you can go higher, but 1.5" - 2" is safest bet

^ 1.5" moto fab up front with 2" replacement blocks in the rear( stock rears are 1.5")

PPPS: this was just after having 275-70-18 bfgs put on

2" - 2 1/2" is what most do level wise. 3" can be done, but that's where the angles get tricky, and your upper control arm is the limiting factor. replace them with Icon's or others which are designed to give more travel with larger level kits and you'll be good.

So the 1.5" is enough the eliminate the rake?

Yes, the motofab 1.5 kit I think looks perfect on a screw 5.5 bed.

Just leveled mine with a 2.5 leveling kit...20" Katana rims with a 14mm offset...33" Nitto Grapplers. No rubbing at all.

1.5" - 2" will be good for leveling. Any higher than 2" and you are doing a poor mans lift

Did the 1.5" level, running 305/55r20 Hankook Dynapro ATM, on 2015+ OEM FX4 wheels in black from Ford Racing. Everything is perfect, handles like a charm and no rubbing!

I"m about to level mine, and I think I'll go with 1.5". I carry a couple hundred pounds of tools and often tow an ATV trailer so I want to keep a touch of rake when empty. I did a 2" on my '05 and it was the perfect amount, but I don't think the 12th gen. trucks have as much rake as the 11th gens.
