True HIDS require installation of ballast and light housing mods usually runs into 500 bucks plus for just the headlights. Personally I dont recommend true aftermarket HIDS, whiter halogens however are a good buy.

I went with a higher end kit with 35w digital slim ballasts that is bi-xenon, contains high and lows in one bulb.

Whats the pn for the silvania silverstars halogens for 2011 F150? I'm looking on Amazon and can't find em. Could it be H13ST? Installed silverstars on my 4runner and they're great, been running em for 5 years or so. I can't see >$500 for hids, but that's me. $30-$40 I can do! Gotta have good headlights. Damn deer!

Saylvania also has a H13XV XtraVision and they are about 30% brighter and 25% longer is visibility.
Just for everyone's reference, here is a link to Salvania's site that you can get all the sizes for any car or truck. Helps if you are looking at swaping out the map lights with LEDs, etc.

I would think that you being a Honda fan would know that theses ARE in fact HID's! Hid kits can be had for around $80 for a retro fit kit that installs into stock housing which is what this guy did. There are more expensive retro kits that also have the projectors and those will run you in the mid grand area!
