Default 2010 F150 W/ Smoked Recon Projectors + H1 Xenons

Thought I'd post a before and after since I had a tough time finding pics of this setup when I was poking around the webs. These are the smoked projectors from Recon with the H1 4,600K Xenon bulbs. They are a huge improvement over the stock headlights...and I love the way the look too.

Nice. Very similar. I looked at those too. I really liked the LEDs running under the projectors instead of on the sides. So I put up the extra $.

The LEDs are spliced into the parking lights. Seen here with just parking lights on.

Mean looking!

Glad you got it and posted pics 'cuz those lights were exactly what I was looking at, or spending $1,200+ on a "real" (meaning legal) HID headlight set.

I have those recon ones too and they look great, the only thing is that the LED lights aren't very bright and neither are the halo's and I had HID's on my OEM headkights, and those shined brighter on the road than the projector ones on the Recon's

So ordered 10 brighter LED 198 bulbs, and 55W HID's from DDM, just have to install and away we go!

Have you found a way to bypass the auto daytime lights?

I have mine hardwired to ignition power, just bc when I had HID's on my OEM headlights, they would sometimes not turn on, I would have to turn the lights on and off when that happens
