Default 2010 F150 5.4 Popping!

So I've done some research under other posts on here and nobody else's problem sounded quite like mine. Anyway, when I go WOT the motor goes through the entire rpm range but after about 3000rpm it pops through the exhaust all the way to redline and I can kind of feel it bog slightly with every pop. I wanna say it's misfiring from running too rich but not sure and it just started doing it about 2000 miles ago. She's only got 80,000 miles and is Hypertech tuned with a cat-back straightpipe. Any ideas?

Does it do it without the hypertech installed? What octane are you running? How long have your plugs been installed?

That's kind of what I was thinking. Still has factory plugs in it I'm assuming. I actually didn't think about trying the factory tune to see if it's the programmer but I figured I could trust a widespread tune. I'm running the 87 octane tune. I'll try a couple different things before I buy new plugs (even though it's time to change them anyways)

pull some timing or just return to stock. I would put the stock tune and if that cures it put a hotter thermostat. Hypertech likes 165 degree, computer thinks that the engine is not up to normal operating temp and forces the computer to add fuel.
