Anything I should worry about before washing the engine... might take it to the car wash down the street they should clean engines as well just maybe not familiar with ford 5.0.. anything I should point out for them to cover. ..
Or any good way to do it yourself? ?

Check the manual. There is a graphic that shows the three areas to avoid spraying.
