Did you know you can actually turn your ball cap around??I think that the bill was actually designed to be forward facing (I don't know why, possibly to shade the sun from your eyes?) You might try that lol. Sorry dude, just messin w/ya. But I seriously don't have any issues w/ my headrests at all. Maybe it has to do w/my height-6'1"??. Try bending like others have done or I guess the Focus fit and are not tipped forward so much. Good luck

They don't bother me on my F150, but they have on other car's for sure. The reason Ford (and other OEM's) is making them this way is to be in compliance with FMVSS 202a which identifies a distance between the headrest and head at a given height from the H point. This is based on the average or 50th precentile person size.... I'm not average I can tell you that much! But the idea is to limit injury in a colision, wiplash etc.

I like them, much better than my old Sport Trac's headrests.
I adjusted the inclination of the seat and I don't notice them.

Default Same issue

I have the same problem. However, I didn't even know I could raise them. I assume you just grab them and pull up?

GBC1988: I think so; but if not there are two buttons at the base but they do raise up.

Put me on the list of people that find the 2010 headrests perfect. I'm 6'1" so maybe it's only short(er) people that have a problem.

The rear headrests are GIANT and look a little funny but as far as the fronts I've no problems.

I am in sales and are in my truck 95% of the day. The headrest was the first complaint that I had about this truck because I felt that I could not get the same feel that I had in my 05 F150. I'm 6'2" and even today adjusted my seat back 3 or 4 times trying to get the "right feeling" and not have the headrest hitting me in the back of the head on every big bump.
I was wandering if we could switch the back head rest with the fronts, but after reading this post I think I will just bend them.
