Default 2010 Dual Climate Control Blend doors not moving

I need help! I bought a used 2010 Lariat recently and now that its getting cold i realized that the heat was not coming out of the vents. Read a bunch of posts and replaced the main blend door actuator for dual climate control. when i started everything up i noticed that the actuator does not move. removed fuse to calibrate ...didn't work. left battery unplugged over night...didn't work. it seems like neither passenger or driver blend door actuator are moving. nothing really happens when i adjust the temp controls. i checked to see if power was getting to the actuator and i was getting 5V at the connector. i don't know what to do. i really don't want to get hosed by the dealer. it looks like whoever had the truck before me knew of the problem because the main actuator was missing and only the gear was left behind. looks like the cranked the blend door to only AC to solve the problem and didn't use the heat.
