2010 5.4L v8 Whistling intake/ Check engine light

OK quick update here. I took the air filter off and all corresponding tubing leading up the the throttle body. I checked them all for cracks and breaks and couldn't locate anything.
The MAF sensor is very very clean, but form what I'm reading i need a special cleaner for it?
The truck doesn't have idling issues all the time, it seems to get worse when i put the vehicle in park after driving for 10 or 15 minutes. That is the only time the vehicle has stalled thus far.
The main issues is loss of power and the whistling, howling noise before the gears change - which are getting worse.

So it seems your truck has an issue with its fuel/air trim. If the KN has been in for 20k miles already, without problems, then it's tough to say. I know they can whistle at high rpms anyway.
I always go back to the last thing I monkeyed around with...
If it were me, I wouldn't try and clean the maf.. I would disconnect the battery then reconnect it and let the computer relearn its idle. I think there is a procedure in the manual.

I disconnected the battery today because i unplugged the maf sensor and the throttle body before i took them apart. Still no luck.
The check engine light is still on, and the whistling / intake leak noise usually occur around 3k rpms

Update: Check out the video to see the current issues. Sorry to be such a pain to everybody, just trying to fix this myself to avoid having a dealership f it up again.
This video was taken when i put the vehicle in park after a 7 minute ride with a maximum speed of 40 mph.

Man... Watched the video. Totally looks like a vacuum leak that isn't a factor at highway speeds but is a big deal at idle. No hissing sound under the hood? No cracks in pcv hose?
Haven't seen anyone post about IAC valve issues, but i wonder if yours is sticky.

Take some carb cleaner spray or something similar that will not hurt your engine. Spray it around ALL hoses with the engine running. If you get a spike in RPM you have a vacuum leak in the area where you sprayed. Should be pretty easy to trace.

Still trying
ji603: I'm not sure if this truck has an IAC, maybe it is computerized? I cleaned my entire throttle body and MAF sensor today still no luck.
jt09xlt: I'm going to try and find the leak tonight using propane or carb cleaner, a friend of mine is a mechanic so he's going to give me a hand.
I did notice a small split in the boot that leads into my intake, but I think it may have occurred from me taking the piece on and off a few times and the hose clamp digging into it. The split is behind the spot the hose clamp pushes on, so I don't think it is the cause of the issue.

Alright so I repaired to boot with some rubber, it worked great for the time being.
We sprayed almost an entire can of carb cleaner and didn't find one single leak.
The only thing that reacted to me moving or rattling was the purge valve. It seems to fluctuate the idle at times even when I didn't touch it.
The only other thing I'm thinking it may be is the throttle body/ elector controller or iac attached to the side of it. Currently no check engine light or codes. Biggest problem is still the idle jumping to 1200 after being out in park....almost like the throttle body is searching for the idle speed.
