2009 gas gauge ?

2009 gas gauge ?
Hello everyone just joined a few days ago, great sight with lots of info.
So for my first post it will be a ? of course. My fuel gauge is not working properly it will actually read that I have 1/4 to a 1/2 tank and the mile to empty read out will coralate with the gauge. so as you pass gas stations thinking you have gas all of the sudden you get the 50 mile to empty warning. It has been to the dealer twice and it did show up on the computer, so they replaced the sending unit under warrenty. This worked for a while then it happen again. The next time they said that ford told them it was a program problem, so they reprogramed it.That worked for a while. Now 10,000 miles latter out of warrenty it is doing it again. Any suggestions would be great, thanks.

I have the same thing going on with mine and it doesn't start after you fill the tank. Have to push the pedal to the floor for it to start and then it takes a while turning 3K RPM for it to run without your foot on the throttle. Going to the dealer tomorrow. Just out of warranty...
