Default 2009 Fuel Filter Location??

Okay, had a 2000 F150 and changed the filter on that one a couple of times. Fairly easy to find, in-line in front of the tank, along the beam just about under the rear extended cab door on driver's side. Ran down to the auto parts store and picked up what was represented to me as the filter for the 2009 model (looked identical to the 2000 model filter I used to install). Scooted under the rig but can't find the damn filter! I've read some posts suggesting that Ford put the filter inside the tank but that doesn't match up with JiffyLube telling me it was time to replace and the auto parts store selling me a "2009 part". Can I get some help here? Shouldn't be rocket science

It is an in-tank filter.

As others have noted .....
  • in-tank.
  • not (intended to be) serviceable.
