It's the negative offset on the wheels.

With the 9 inch wide wheel's and a 4.5 backspace you're 2 1/2 inches wider then stock. This increases the front track width and causes the rubbing when turning. I had the same problem on my '04 truck and went to an 8 inch wheel with 5.5 inches of backspacing and had a lot more clearance running 35's. You can trim the lower wheelwell liner or hammer it in to make it work if you don't mind butchering up the truck a little. Anyway your truck look's great and may be worth it to try to gain some clearance.

Default 295/70/R18 Nitto Terra Grapplers

I just put some LT 295/70/R18 Nitto Terra Grapplers on my 2013 Ford F150 XLT SuperCrew Cab 2WD and I have little to no scrubbing but am going to pull back my under carriage rubber on the ride side due to rubbing at hard braking and turning left. So far I love the aggressive look it gives and how quite they are compared to most 34's.

I have +20mm rims with 295 70 18 Trails on a 2"AS and have zero rubbing. I would say it is your offset. Need to be positive.
