Just took it out and reflashed it yesterday, I had them walk me through it at the shop. There were NO options on configuring what is displayed on that top screen.
All I get is the time and date 2 line display like in Toddman's bottom picture above. Nothing else gets displayed regardless of whether a song is playing or not.

Depends on if the Hu is Off oe On! Ill bet if you turn off your Alpine it displays the same. Unless you have a Older model MaestroRr!
All the pics Ive seen are the same, regaurdless of the HU Brand! My truck ignition was off in the top pic, so it wasnt displaying direction or outside temp.
