Default 2" HB Leveling kit / Alignment ?

Alright, so I have been procrastinating on getting my Hell Bent leveling kit installed on my 2011 Eco Screw. I have shopped around on the price of having it installed at several shops close to where I live. The install prices have been between $150-250. My co-worker's husband has given me the best price..................FREE install in exchange for a case of Budlight. I can't pass it up. I trust him, he's a certified mechanic although its not his full time/ day job.

My question is, they live 20 interstate minutes from my house. If he installs the leveling kit for me, is it going to hurt my truck if I don't get it aligned right away? I will try and get it aligned as soon as possible but it may be a day or two after the install. Is it going to hurt driving the truck?

Thanks in advance!

I got a 2" Zone Level done on my truck last week. I have yet to get the alignment due waiting till I got my tires installed. My truck doesn't pull or push, but now that my tires are installed, I don't want to wear them wrong. My only worry is the tires. You should be fine, just no long trips before you get it aligned.

What would be considered a long trip? I was thinking getting the leveling kit installed then getting the alignment done when I get my tires but the place where the tires will be installed is about 1 1/2 hours from me, all interstate at 75 mph. on my way to Morehead City NC next month.

Eh, I don't know if I'd wait that long personally, depending on how much you drive in a month.

My alignment was barely different when I installed my HBS level. I think you would be fine.

Mine doesn't feel that bad off, I just know your suppose to realign because leveling kits call for different angles. Also, I got new tires put on too!
