Default Off-Road Package - Shocks

Hey Gang,

I'm just wondering what the actual difference is between the stock shocks and the ones on this package? My off-roading is limited to driving around campsites or occasionally across my yard, however I'd still like to know what I paid for (my truck came w/ the package, as did most on my dealer's lot). I'm happy about the skid plates as I already ran over a tree stump w/ my Ridgeline while manuevering the camper; so there is value in those to me.

Just like to know a little bit about the shocks. Oh, and I get the upgraded tires too in the package.

Thanks !

The Off Road package shocks are going to be a little firmer than the stock ones to help with going off road and hitting holes, rocks, and what not. I also believe it might sit a tad higher but that's just my personal opinions. I've heard but I don't know this for a fact that they are the same shocks on the FX4. Don't forget the electronic locking differential as well!

Guilty as well but being able to seat 6 people in a loaded XLT was a big plus. I've used that option several times in the 3,000 miles on the clock.

The FX4 has the stiffer Ranchero shocks (though it may have been changed) and comes with the skid plate, HID black head lights and other interior upgrades.

This poor man would have liked a FX4 too - but I'm tickled pink to pick up the rig I'm about to get tomorrow !
