Which 18" wheels should I get?
Hi, I'm new to the forum. I'm ordering a race red, F150 XLT reg cab w/ 8' box, 4 x 4, EcoBoost, 3.55 limited slip, w/ XLT convenience & tow pak. The only wheels that Ford is offering me are the standard 17" that come on the XLT. I would rather get either the 18" machined aluminum that come on the FX2 & FX4, or the 18" chrome-clad that come with the XLT chrome pak. I also like the 20" polished aluminum. I need an 8' box, so I can't get an FX2 or FX4. Since I have a reg cab, I can't get the chrome pak. And if I get a Supercab w/ an 8' box, I get pushed into the Heavy-Duty payload pak, which has the 7 lug wheels (I don't tow or haul anything heavy, so I really don't want to spend the extra cash for something I don't need)!! I've found numerous places that offer "take-offs" and some even have new OEMs in the box, never used. Sorry for the long intro, but now the questions. Which wheel is the better choice (more durable, etc)? Does anybody out there know of a good place to buy these, or places to avoid? This truck will not be used off-road. Thanks for all your help in advance.

There's always someone trying to sell their OE stockers on here.
You'll probably get a better price from the members, here. But no warranty
