Default Which 18" a/t tire?

Duratrac, BFg at ko or grabber a/t?

Live in southern illinois and see maybe 10" of snow a year not too much mud. These would be a winter spring set pretty much on some fx4 18" wheels. Some off-road not a lot though

My situation requires I cannot get stuck when responding to a call, so best reaction without consideration to price

Of these 3 what's your preference ?

I would recommend the Toyo Open Country AT2s in the extreme size or the MTs.. although out of your list I've only had the BFGs. They have always been a great tire.

I agree. With the duratracs as a 2nd option.

My vote goes for Duratracs but I have no experience with the others so take that for what it's worth. In the snow and mud I've had them in, they've performed flawlessly. As far as on pavement, they have a bit of road noise and MPG loss but really quite good. A tad pricey though but I need to be able to get anywhere, any time as well.

I'm going grabber only because they are cheaper than both and actually from reviews on tire rack they are better than the bfg.

^^^THIS^^^ xeleventybillion

original Revo's were THE best tire I have EVER owned, bar none.
I love BFG AT's too but due to their 3 ply sidewall they are a bit heavy, so they do cause a small hit in mpg compared to other tires of the same size.
Michelin LTX AT II's are a really highly recommended and well praised tire but I have no personal experience with them. we dont sell them much at work because they are quite expensive.

EDIT: sorry, didnt read your original post completely. of the 3 tires you listed, the only one I have personal experience with is the BFG and I do love them.
I have a friend with the duratrac's on his jeep wrangler and his wife's jeep liberty. neither are a full size truck, but with that said he absolutely LOVES them.

a few years ago I had a coworker with a 4x4 ranger and he bought grabber A/T II's and he HATED them. he said on the road in the rain they were some of the worst tires he had ever had. he could not take off on a hill in the rain, and it was a 3.0 auto, so it wasnt exactly a powerhouse either.
