thanks,
i was all over the place picking them out. i had walked into a shop ready to pull the trigger on a set of 35" tires with a 3" lift kit but they did not have the wheels i was interested in and the guy didn't seem too interested in making an effort on them. his comment was "there are only so many ways you can make a wheel". i walked out, never called him back, changed my mind and ended up coming in 1k cheaper.

fast forward to today.... i knew my ford dealer contracts a lot of work to that place. i realized today that they did not return my old lugs to me so i called to tell them i was coming to pick them up. he informed me they were done at the other place so i had to go back there and pick them up. of course i walk in and there he is waiting to return the lugs. he looked at me and i could tell his brain was spinning trying to place me. i think he finally did based on the look he gave me. i got a little chuckle out of it.

here is what puzzles me. he quoted me previously a level for 550.00 NOT including alignment (100.00 extra). ford quoted at the same time 500.00 WITH alignment. that is why i went with them. and he is the one that ended up doing it. i know ford is making a little on it. he must be giving it to them for real cheap to keep em coming. and this guy farms his alignments out to a bridgestone next door.

Awesome looking truck!!! Took me forever to find pics of a 6.5 foot box with 17" rims. I just ordered the HD package and people started to make me doubt my choice. This pic makes me feel better!!
