Default 17" rims and tires

I have a stock '11 XLT with 18" rims. Going to be putting Duratracs on next month and am considering going with a 17" rim. I've seen a couple trucks that I think are running 17s but I've only seen them in passing so I couldn't confirm with the driver. I'm really only considering the move for aesthetics.

If you are running 17s can you post some pix? I'd appreciate it.

Thanks guys. Nice trucks. I think those raptor wheels look better on your trucks than on the raptor itself.

Couple questions:

If moving from 18s to 17s, do I need to recalibrate the speedometer? I think yes.

I looked at the tire and fitment guide but did not see Duratracs on stock 4wd. I don't plan on leveling or lifting the truck so what would be the biggest size tire I could fit on Fuel Octanes?

(Answer for #2 may be in the tire and fitment thread. Looking now)

17 raptor wheels on '11 XLT that replaced clad 18s.

What is important is the overall diameter of the wheel/tire diameter like 33, 34, 35 inches etc... when it comes to the speedometer.

Biggest tire without leveling would restrict you to something not much bigger than stock IMO but I'm not 100% on that.
