Default 17 inch wheels

In November I bought 2010 F150 FX4. It comes stock with 18in. wheels but I want to put 17in on. The rotors on this thing are massive though, is it possible to put 17in wheels on without the rotor or caliper rubbing?

thanks.

Since they are available with 17s (not the fx4 but lower models) and can't see why not.

Mine came with 18s and I just put 17s on. Check the picture threads, there are many with 17s. There isn't much room, but they fit.

What size tires do you have with those 17's? And do you have a leveling kit? And what offset are those wheels?

I had a level kit on, but I didn't like it. It's not on in these photos. I tow and haul often. With the level kit, the front was way in the air. It looked stupid and handled crappy. The reason most trucks are higher in the back is so when they're loaded, they're level.

Tires are 305/65/17s
Wheels are 17 x 9. I can't remember the offset. For this model, Pro Comp only offers 2 types of 17s; 17 x 8 and 17 x 9. The site has the offsets for each.

thanx for the info. I'm actually looking into a set of air bags for my rear, due to I have a leveling kit on mine. The 17X9 wheels have a -6 offset according to their site, and I noticed your tires are 12 inches wide.....

My last question is, did you have any rubbing at all or have to do any trimming? In those pics above, if you have no leveling kit on and 305/65-17 tires, that looks really nice.
