To the op, what kind of deal are you talking about? Is it a steal? Personally I wouldn't change out unless it was a change in wheel size. But there goes your deal spent on tires. At the end of the day, you and a few ppl with keen eyes are the only ones who would notice the difference. Not worth the $$ IMO.

This may help, although I suspect you are contemplating different wheels. Lowered '14 FX2 with '15 Expedition wheels 22" (but chromed).

I paid $600 for my set of wheels/tires. Had to drive like 180 miles to get them, but that was still way cheaper than putting new tires on my old wheels.

I like the idea of adding the newer wheels to a previous body style. Custom OE. I'll most likely be pulling the trigger on these for my '12 Lariat soon.

Got a set of those to go on my 2013 in a couple of weeks. Newly painted, getting more clearcoat Sunday then a week to cure before stuffing new 295/50's on them.
