Default 14 Lariat BUBBLES IN PAINT/NEED A FORD REP

Handwashed my 14 Lariat this morning and found bubbles in the paint. Truck has 1730 miles on it, never pressure washed nor seen any mud. I've spoken with my hometown dealer(didn't purchase from them) and they brushed me off and said I had to take it to a dealer w/a body shop. Called the dealer I purchased from (2 hrs away) and he really acted like an ***** and said "I'm startin to think there's no pleasing you"!!! My hometown dealer sucks, and the other one is obviously not wantin to deal with me after the purchase. I wanna speak to a Ford Rep as I thought I saw one on here. Im beyond disappointed in Ford as the pics will show why. Any and all help is greatly appreciated!!! The bubbles are on top of the ridge that runs down the truck, on the passenger door.

Was the truck dirty when you took delivery of it?

I am sure that it will be taken care of. I took delivery of a new F150 xlt recently that had a couple of small chips on the hood. My dealer here took great care of me. They sent the truck straight to a body shop. They attempted to cover the small chips but they were not satisfied with the way it turned out so they removed the entire hood and refinished it. Now it looks better than new !! Guess some dealers are better than others.

Nasty I honestly didn't look the truck over that hard. It was detailed when I bought it. I see now that I will never make that mistake again, but if ya buy a brand spankin new truck I feel ya shouldn't hafta inspect it. They shoulda found the flaws before selling it. I mean seriously if they cant even get the paint right, it makes me wonder what else I might find.

It's defiantly a problem they should be fixing. There are ford reps on here they will probably chime in.

FordService is a ford rep on this forum, might be out for the holiday??
They should take care of it... I'm suprised your local dealer is brushing this off. Even though you did not buy there, most dealers are happy to do your service. They make good $$ from ford doing warranty work.. that and good service means repeat customers.. would be in there best interest to make you happy as they can.
Good luck with the repair

It should be covered, get ahold of the dealership that you bought it from asap. You HAVE to look them over!!! They aren't covered in bubble wrap until you get to it, and many flaws can happen in paint at the factory.

If the salesman said that to me, I'd be down there so fast talking (maybe yelling a little) to a manager.
You pay that little ****s bills so he better make sure you're happy. Little punks like that think they can just toss a person in a truck and be done with them. My salesman calls me once or twice a year just to see how my truck is treating me. It goes a long way for a 26 year old like me. I'll be damn sure to buy another vehicle from him when I'm done with my current truck.
Sounds like that ***** should be selling some used cars on a no name lot...

PS, I had rail dust on my C-pillar on my 2010. Didn't notice it for a few months...I called them up and truck was in same week getting refinished...not a single complaint.

I'm waitin for a call from the service manager where I purchased it. Called FoMoCo and started a case cuz im sick of the ridiculous local dealer. It got heated with the head salesman I purchased from. I made sure to tell him I wasn't gonna tolerate his yelling and bs. Service after the sell is jus as important as the sell itself in my eyes.
