Default 14.5 mpg average with ecoboost and trailer?

I have only had mt eco screw for anout 3 months and this is the first time taking a long trip in her. I just drove from Dallas TX to Jacksonville FL with a 5'x8 trailer. I had it set on cruise control the majority of the trip at 75 mph. I averaged 14.5 mpg. Does this seem right? Low? High? Thanks for your feedback. I guess I am trying to get realistic expectations with Eco engine.

With a trailer, at 75mph, that's a great mileage. Enjoy your truck and all the towing glory of the ecoboost. :-)

I took my 2010 XLT Screw with 4.6L 3v, 3.33 gears. I towed a BMW motorcyle(about 700lbs) in a uhaul 6x12(1300ish), so about 2000lbs. From Albuqurque to Las Cruces. My avg mpg on the dash after going from El Paso empty, to Alb.(picked up bike) to Las Cruces, and back to El Paso was 16.8mpg. 70ish mph, CC(most time), tow/haul mode on.

I have not reset the MPG since the start of that trip, and now it reads 19.5mpg.

I'll take it!

Seems pretty darn good. I'm only averaging 14.4 on the hwy Without a trailer.
I think mine needs a tsb reflash or something.

It's been about a month since that trip. I drive speed limit or under, if not alot of traffic. I don't jackrabbit start. I coast to stops at lights(depending on traffic). Basically I use some of the techniques I learned from driving the Escape Hybrid, and reading its forum. Plus most of the driving in the last month has been hiway.

I'm getting 14.6 without trailer. Eco 4x4 crew xlt 3.55 with 7600 miles on it. Stock wheels no level kit, drive like a granpa with premium gas. Maybe there is somthing wrong with my truck...

Is trailer enclosed? If so, very good mpg. If open trailer it's about right.

I pull a 6 x 10 contractor (tall enclosed) trailer, 3200 lbs with a couple ladders on top. Generally get between 13 and 16 mpg depending on wind and hills.
So I'd say that's decent.
