Didn't you run 14.8 last time out...and get beat up by a couple of Hemi's?

And now you are 8 tenths and 6 mph better without any changes?

How's that happen??

You saying that I won't gain a 1/2 second against my opponent or in this case lose it with a .2 RT vs a .7? You ever drag race much?

You sit on the line for 5 minutes, you ain't gonna win many races.

I ran 14.801 and got beat past the 1/8th mark by a Hemi and a Duramax. I was launching in 4x4 and making the switch to 4x2 just after I would launch. The display indicated it switched, however, as many have said, it doesn't truly switch under load.

Good question you ask. The difference in ET proves to me they were correct. I got in several runs on Sunday and consistently achieved 2.1xx 60' launches when launching in 4x2. The previous time out to the track, my best 60' time launching in 4x4 was a 2.207. So, I was getting better launches in 4x2.

Going from a 2.2 60ft to a 2.1 does not net .8 tenth. It may give you .2 or .3 at the other end but not .8! Also I have launched my truck in 4wd and 2wd with Also most the same 60ft time and my et wasn't to far off from one run to the next.

I don't believe you understood my post. Never indicated .1 60'' would net a better .8 ET. I was indicating I simply did better launching in 4x2 as opposed to 4x4. My point was the .8 indicates clearly the switch to 4x2 does not occur under load, so, when I previously switched from 4x4 to 4x2 and ran a 14.801, it stayed in 4x4 all the way down the track, which killed my times, previously ... VERY noticeable after the 1/8th mark. So, my point was 4x4 all the way down the track slowed me donw by about .8. Hope that explains it a little better fro you.
