09 rear view camera

Well I just got my camera in the mail today, and from what I can tell is that pins 4 and 6 are Ground and Signal Ground for the video. 1 appears to be 12 volts do some capacitance detected between ground, and that should leave 3 as the composite video signal. Anybody have a different opinion ?

Not Sure I am little reluctant to strip away all the insulation and heat shrink, I used a multi-meter to check the resistance between the pins and the metal shell around the camera assembly. Thats where I found that there was no resistance between pins 6 and 4 and the shell, therefor those must be ground and signal ground. Then when I checked resistance between pin 1 and the shell I detected capacitance which is common for decoupling, and surge absorption applied to input voltage pins. Pin 3 however is not connected to ground and does not have the characteristics of pin 1 so I assume that is composite video.

AmberGold4x4 thanks for doing that, I think you might be right, when I look at your pictures I think the numbers might be backwards. The look like they should be:
1 red
2 Blk
3 Blue
4 wht
5 Green
6 Blk
That matches up with a couple of color codes that v_tach brought to the table, and with what I was able to find with a muli-meter, but I am concerned with Pin 4, and assuming that it is composite video + there is only 42 ohms of resistance between that pin and ground. And then there is Pin 3 which is a blue wire and doesn't match up well with the color codes at all. I would have expected the composite video reference would share ground with the vehicle.
So this is all I am confident with right now.
1 red +12 V
6 blk Gnd
However since both the other pins should be source pins it probably won't be a big problem to go with a trial & error process to determine what the appropriate combination is. Anybody want to give it a try, or provide an alternate description ?

Hopefully my camera will arrive this week sometime. I'll post anything new I discover.
I cant believe the OEM cameras are showing up on ebay for $70-$75. I wonder what the source is? I may buy another as a spare.
So this is what we have so far...

Stumbled across this for the 2008 camera plug. Even if the pin location and colors do not match 2009, it at least may give some insight to the availabe functions of the wiring.

Hi, new to the forum. Just purchased a 2009 150 and am trying to install a camera. I ordered the camera from ebay and have the dimming/microphone mirror. How do you tie in the rearview mirror video with the camera? Is the wiring already run to the back of the truck?
