yea the gouges.no issues getting it off.. that was from a fitment issue with a replacement led light that i had tried.. Didn't fit worth a crap and ended up scratching the paint. returned it and bought the raptor light. its actually been touched up already. Just got the paint in the mail. Had already ordered it to fix my first rock ding. and actually what looks like scratches was ice stuck to the roof of the truck. it was about 18 degrees outside when i did this

Yea that was a attempt at a replacement led light that didn't fit worth a crap and damaged the area around the screw holes when i screwed it down. ended up returning it and bought the raptor light. Touched up the paint last night as a matter of fact after seeing the pic. what looks like scratches on the roof and where the light was is just ice.. it was a tad cold out

So, I went ahead and ordered one off ebay. Also got ahold of nick patton and ordered the led cargo lights. Figured might as well do them while I'm at. Really hoping I have the 4th wire. From what I have read, there is a good possibly it will be there. It's going on a 14 Lariat 4x4 with off road package, down hill decent control, and e-locker. Seems to be a decent combo for having the wire. I'll post up some pictures when I get it installed.

From what I've seen and heard you more than likely do. From what I can see it's not there on mine. I actually never checked before running my fourth wire. I hadn't heard about newer trucks having this wire until after I did the install. Either way when I check the wire going to the running lights with a multi meter I get nothing. ... From the pictures I took of the connector I only see three wires.

If the fourth wire is there, what does a person do? The fourth wire powers the LEDs?

Yes, it powers the led running lights. If it's there, you do nothing, it's plug and play.

Got my lights today. Waiting for the Leds to come. I'll try to throw it on this weekend and get some pics.
