Default 09-14 f-150 gutted by fire

On my way to work street was closed off by fire trucks and police. Asked a lady what was going on she said the man had his truck running in the drive went in to get kids, came out and it was on fire. I got this pic on way home. I had a 14 I just traded in,I never heard of any trouble with theese. Wonder what happened. Interior was completly gone. This truck was mint .I pass it daily it was same color as mine not sure what year, not 14 like mine

Love people that leave their vehicles running unattended.

As I do. Sort of defeats the purpose of remote start if it's not unattended.

Right? I live in a state that sees cold weather. Numerous vehicles left running while people run into a store or what not. Pretty common practice.

Who knows what happened? Could have been from debris buildup on the cats, Fuel leak, ceased/faulty engine part or arson.
