They were listed for 1149.99 with Free Shipping on AutoAnything site. I found them on Stage3Motorsports or something like that site for 1053.xx with Free Shipping. Since i have dealt with AA beforeand loved the service i called to see if they could beat it and boy did they. I got the steps around $35 bucks cheaper and next day shipping!

Hey guys,

Have not been on the forum for a while, but I had to do some research as my BeStop powersteps are experiencing some problems. Had them installed in 2010 on my then new SCrew FX4. 3 years, 82k miles later, they have been great.

Unfortunately yesterday, getting out of the truck I think I stepped on them too quickly before they were fully lowered. When I closed the door, I heard the motor work, but the steps stayed down. I think I stripped a gear out on the driver side set. Wire tied them up, and gonna check it out this weekend.

Anyone know if replacement or spare parts are available. I rather not buy a whole new motor/gearbox if I don't have to. I had them installed, but i would rather try to fix this myself.

I was quoted 1400 installed at the ford speed shop here in town, is this a good deal or can they be bought, shipped and installed by me for much less, this same place is asking 1050 for a 2" redi lift leveling kit installed.

I do ALL my own mods, motor work and all and I was nervous about knowing which wires to tap into but the instructions show you exactly which one to do, anybody that can read can install them! I went the extra mile and wrapped the entire harness in 3M electrically tape for extra protection from the elements. Ran it so all wires are hidden except by the controller and installed the bars. From start of wrapping the harness to finishing the LEDs took about 2-2.5hrs. Best mod to date and the wife really likes them too!
