Does the Retrax XR offer stake pocket cutouts like previous RetraxPro covers? Or does the rail system require that the pockets stay covered?
Good question, most or all of the stake pockets will be covered by the XR rails depending on the application. Unfortunately there isn't an option for stake pocket cut-outs because this would interfere with use of the utility track for different rack accessories.

Can this cover be unlocked from underneath by dropping the tailgate? Or is a key always needed if it's locked?
Great question! It cannot be unlocked by dropping the tailgate; it would need to be unlocked using the key. That said, it doesn't have to be locked. Please let us know if you have any further questions or if you are interested in ordering.
