I read or heard talk of t-slot rails being an option at some point. Any knowledge if that is something forthcoming?

Yes, you are absolutely correct, there is a new rail option that is currently being released! It is called the TRAX Rail System and it will accommodate rack systems from all major manufacturers. It's a great option for those who are looking to use both a retractable tonneau cover and rack.
