Kicker Audio Upgrade Systems from Ford!
#31
I just got a 2013 with the Sony system and it seems like more bass comes out of the door speakers than the sub. Will this also replace the Sony system with NAV? I've seen different opinions on whether it will work or not. Also does the sub go under the rear passenger or rear drivers seat? I've seen pictures with it in both places.
Thanks

I believe I have it all hooked up correctly, but I'm not getting any sound out of the sub at all. The kit didn't come with the fuse, wire taps or foam wraps, so I went to the local store and picked some up. I've checked the power line, ground connection, fuse, and connections into the sub. The only thing I'm not certain of is if I'm tapped into the right wires behind the kick panel. They looked like the colors the manual calls for, white with purple stripe and white with orange stripe. I'm also wondering if the cheap wire taps from Autozone aren't getting a good connection.
Has anyone installed just the sub in a 2013 and can confirm the wire colors?
Thanks

Ignore my previous message. I was looking at the wrong bundle of cables and finally tapped into the right speaker cables. Now it sounds much better! This is what the truck should have come with originally.
