I just got a 2010 F-150 king ranch for $5,000. It's in great shape but has 170k on the clock so I don't want to put too much $ into it, but I live in Utah and need to lift this thing for the offroading I have to do.

It will have to tow a 5,000 lb travel trailer as well. I want a decent rake so that when towing my trailer and loading it down it won't point up in front. I'm looking at the boss front coilovers at 2.75" in front. I was thinking about the 2" AAL in the rear for added weight capacity and possibly airbags to level the ride when towing (I am coming from a 3/4 ton dodge) Any opinions on this?

Also I plan on keeping the stock 20" king ranch wheels. Is it true that I can only use the Icon upper control arms with these wheels? I am running 275/60/20s currently but may upsize once they wear out.

Thanks

Could it be the rear shocks? Would switching to another brand eliminate this? How do Fox 2.0 shocks compare to Halo's? Any suggestions?
Did you ever resolve this? My truck has the same issue.

Halolifts - Can you provide information on checking and/or adjusting the rear shock reservoir pressure?

I'm curious on other people's experiences with these coilovers. Has anyone had any settling of the front end. If you have, how much and how long did it take?

I originally had mine set for 2 inches of lift which left me with 3/4 inch rake. Now the front has come down a half inch leaving me with 1.25 inches of rake. They have been on the truck for 1 and a half years and only 12,000 miles.

I have had mine on since February of 2015 and 20k miles. No settling at all.

I have the same issue. It happened after I put the shocks and blocks in. I originally ran it that way with the stock tires for a little while so I know it isn't tire related. Scared the crap out me the first time it happened. I put 34" tires on it after a while but still does the same thing. I have just learned to live with it. I think the shocks are a little too stiff.
