Does this work on the 2017 ecoboost 2.7? I would like to see the dyno of the 87 octane performance. Does this require data logging or do they have off the shelf tunes that are included if you just purchase the SCT X4?

SCT doesnt support the 17 2.7 EB yet. I know they are working on it but support hasn't been rolled out as of yet.

I've seen a couple tuners that have tuned the 2017 2.7. I know ID motorsports for sure has done the 2017 2.7. Check FB they gained 78hp with just a 93 oct tune.

I believe 5 Star has tuned the 2017s as well.

Either way... get a good deal from Franchi and get a custom tune from your tuner of choice.

I should clarify, the preloaded tunes from SCT dont support the 17 2.7 as of yet but you may be able to tune it with a custom tune like from ID or 5 Star like White suggested.

Just rescued one that's been sitting w/ 22k on it since 02!
And realized my truck has more HP than it

Morning! And sure dont. That would be an OBI system vehicle so only an actual chip that's been burned would work on something like that and while I'm sure there is places that do older Vet tuning like that, I'm not familar with any off top of my head.
