AT&T coverage is a little spotty where I live and I've not had any problems. The system has worked flawlessly since it was installed. So perhaps it does grab from the best available tower.

I really would like to know when ford or whoever does the app for the remote start going to update......
Got a notice on my iPhone that it might not work on future iOS updates...
Anyone know who to contact to ask when or why it hasn't...
Love my remote start access.

The third party provider for the App is SpinDance.
I have not heard anything about it not working with feature updates, but I will see what I can come up with.

Perimeter alarm question.
According to my window sticker. It shows that I have the perimiter alarm. With the Lariat plus option. Knowing this, where is it located on my 2013 f-150 Lariat? And if so, what do I need to install for the phone app remote start? I also already have the factory remote start.

The VSS module is a shock sensor for vibration/shock of the truck.
The best way to tell if you have the VSS module (which is a dealer add on option, not a factory option) is to lock your truck with your fob, wait 20 seconds, then bounce on the rear bumper. If the alarm triggers then you have it already, if not you will need it.
Hope that helps, and please let me know if you have any other questions.

The factory perimeter is the sensors for the inside of the truck.
