The regulations about these lights may vary depending on a state, so we suggest to check whether it's ok to use them with your local authorities prior getting a kit for your headlights.
We're in NJ and run them in a couple of our corporate vehicles without any problems so far.

Getting back to your question about the brightness of the Recon headlights, from what we observed it was on the same level with stock headlights, however the real benefit of these lights is certainly the design and sharp looking LED DRL/Parking lights!
Thank you for your detailed reply.

The problem I'd be trying to solve isn't looks (if that was the problem I'd be trying to solve, I'd drive me and the truck off of something really tall... ) - but rather how the lights perform. IIHS, as many of us know, slammed the F150 for having terrible output, spread, and total illumination. Part of that is simply so we don't blind others. Part of that is less than optimal design. If the Recons, which really do look fantastic, perform identically to the stock ones, I'd skip that and go with the Anzos (when it's time to do that mod).

You got it correctly. The brightness of a headlight projection on the road depends on the bulb in your low beams, since you don't want to deal with LED or HID conversion kits, the brightness of a halogen bulb will be pretty much the same in Recon, Anzo or your factory headlights, because it's impossible to squeeze more out of it. You can also adjust the angle of projection on all of the headlights that you decide to proceed with. There are adjustment screws on the back to aim the beam.

By the way forum discount is available on many of our products, let me know if you need to get a quote or any additional questions appear!

Today we are here with the next step for upgrading our Ford F-150 and we feel super excited about it. No other accessory will provide your truck with a tough, off-road style and an extra layer of defense between your truck and the trails better then an off-road bumper. We've searched for a long time and came up with another solid choice – Warn Ascent Full Width Front HD Winch Bumper. What do you think of when you hear Warn? Right, winches and toughness. Those 2 things are successfully combined in this bumper, along with refined, low-profile styling and ultra-durable 11-gauge steel construction.

It comes fully packed with utility features for both winches and lighting - this heavy-duty off-road front bumper accepts most WARN mid-frame winches up to 12,000 pounds and features integrated dual light ports to mount auxiliary flood or spot sights. This bumpers comes in a durable black textured powder coat, delivering up to 2X corrosion protection and also accommodates oversized wheels. The installation is a breeze - pre-drilled bolt holes and cutouts make it easy to mount a WARN winch, even after bumper install.

That looks pretty sweet. Would it work with an MX4 bed cover though? I'm thinking no...

Actually, it worked perfectly with our BAK roll-up cover, and the manufacturer says that this Sports bar is compatible with most retractable, roll-up, and folding bed covers. We can't confirm that it's going to work perfectly with MX4 as the bars get closer in at the top of the roll bar, but it may work.

There's no breakup quite like saying goodbye to your favorite car. From the very first ride to the long nights spent working on it in the garage, and to every road trip taken together, it becomes your closest friend. It happens to the best of them, and, unfortunately, we have to say goodbye to our most iconic project cars in the CARiD fleet - blue Ford F150 Ecoboost.

We've had the great pleasure of transforming this truck from a bone stock F150 Crew Cab into the epic vehicle that it is today, and now we have to let it go. Our new video is dedicated to our project Ford F150 as a reminder of the amazing time we've spent together.
