The stock seat heaters in your truck will indeed continue to function as normal. The seat covers are made to work with seat heaters (we even sell aftermarket seat heaters from Clazzio just in case you don't already have seat heaters)
The installation is definitely a two-person job. The set includes all instructions specific to your application, but since the covers are so tight fitting on your seats, it can be tough in some areas (most notably, the head rests). I wouldn't say it's "intense" but it is a bit easier if you're pretty good working with your hands.
