Leather insert. I think over the long haul the leather will hold up better than vinyl. That's just my 2 cents.

Fair enough point, but even with the leather insert, probably 75% or more of the cover is still vinyl, so if you are going to have durability issues, you will have them regardless. And the area that typically sees the most wear, where people tend to slide in and out, is vinyl. So with that, you might as well save the money. Of course, that is just my opinion as someone who owns the covers with the leather insert.

I could be wrong so someone chime in please if i am. The leather interiors you get in most cars and trucks unless the top end have vinyl as well. For example the king ranch is all leather where a Larait will not be 100% leather.

This is correct - a lot of modern car makers will offer a "leather interior" package but with the amazing flexibility / stretching, quality, and price of PVC, this package is usually a hybrid leather / PVC package. Most new cars with a leather package are not 100% leather.

So what do you think would be better to get the leather or vinyl?

If you plan on keeping the truck for 2-3+ years more, I would recommend the leather kit (it comes with a 3 year warranty also). The leather insert is just more durable and doesn't flex as much over extended use so it would keep a better looking form.

Anyone else notice this area. I never did in previous post of others covers. I have had two questions on this. Both people wanting to get total different colors than the original interior. Anyone have picks of theirs with diffrent colors to show how it looks. Thanks

SuperCab has this same cut out but it is hidden and tucked into seat.
I'm guessing they used same measurements for the SuperCrew which doesn't work with the deeper seat.

My thought is if you're doing that console mod to fix the cup holder area you'll have some leftover material that you can probably tuck under the seat cover in that hole. Won't be perfect but slightly better maybe. Can't test this myself the fit is great on my scab.

Anyone have a trick for the backrest portion of scab?
Doesn't have the easy seat lower like the screw.
Cover is made to fit with seat in place but having hard time with it.

The front seat and backrest covers are very difficult to get pulled through the seat crack to velcro into place. Ended up using pliers to get a good enough hold to pull the vinyl tight.

Only thing left is jump seat, both front headrests, and rear seat back.
