I just installed a Bedtred and I think it would be the same regarding the lights on a rug. It was really easy. Removed tail lights which took about 2 minutes total and got access to LED's and the switch. LED's just pushed right out from the back. Squeeze the switch from the sides and push it through. (I had to use a screwdriver but it was simple). Put the Bedtred or rug in place against the panel and I traced the holes from the backside with my daughters white crayon. Pull the rug back, cut your traced line with a box cutter. Try the light and switch in holes and trim until they fit through the rug and side panel and click in place.
Took me about 4 hours. Longest time was getting all the tie down stuff back in and light switch trimming (I'm OCD) Used a step bit on my drill for the tie down holes. I enjoyed it and it worked out great.
That's a Solid Fold I got from TA as well. I really like the cover. Have more pics of it in my pic folder.

Looking for a Bedtred Ultra for a 2014 supercrew 5.5 shipped to 46530. might as well quote a bedrug as well.
