Default New Raptor Front Cam!!

Camera-Source.com now has a new front camera kit for the Raptor! We have finished the prototype and will be shipping the kits within a couple of weeks. Be sure to check out the product page for more information.

We also will bundle this kit with a rear camera and FIM or MyTouch Lockpick so you can interface your factory navigation - all plug and play with no speed or gear restrictions! You control the cameras, not the computer.

Just in time for the holidays!

Just curious, what would be a advantage to having a front camera mounted? Seems lie you guys make some top-notch products.

It's very hard to see how far away you are from things up front when parking. That and supposedly the camera is to help pick lines in low speed crawling, though I don't know too many folks crawling in their Raptor.

How does it hook up to stock set up? I have the rear camera that have the video in my rear view mirror. How do you turn it on going forward?

Trucks that have a rear view mirror display are a bit more challenging. This setup will work right off the shelf for trucks that have an aftermarket navigation with front camera input, universal monitor, or factory navigation when coupled with a Lockpick interface.

That being said we have some new switch boxes that we are looking to experiment with for this type of application. Anyone want to do some R&D in exchange for the equipment? If you are mechanically inclined, have a Raptor or F series with the factory mirror and are willing to test it out send us a PM or use the contact form on our site - camera-source.com

Essentially it's an AV switch box that will switch to rear camera automatically in reverse, but allow you to turn on a front camera at any time.
