Never got a PM on this. Jumped over to eBay like another person mentioned and picked up a unit for $525 shipped to my door. Installed by my local dealer on a 2018 XLT 302A Sport and it works perfect even when auto start/stop kicks in.

Here are a couple of benefits with the Kicker package from Ford.
- Plug and Play (does need to be activated at your local Ford dealer, or if you have forscan, you can do it yourself). The harness is already ran in your truck, its behind the c-pillar on the driver side.
-Does not affect the operation of the rear seat in any way.
-The most important in my opinion, is the ability to work with the Auto-Start feature on the ecoboost engines.

Does this include the door speaker amp as well? I would like to add the sub in my 2018, however would also like to add power to my door speakers. I have a 2018 XLT with my touch 3 and base speakers in crew cab.
